Ladle pourer wanted in Williamsburg County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
