Immediate opening: argon welding operator (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Ontario County, New York. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Part-time with flexible hours.
