Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Dent County, Missouri. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift.
