Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Nkanu East, Enugu State. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₦260,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
