Great opportunity: finishing presser (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Bay County, Michigan. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Rotating shifts.
