Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Madison County, Idaho. You will work in a garment export house. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Rotating shifts.
