Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Jefferson County, Indiana. The job is in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
