Immediate opening: we are hiring a painter in Southend-on-Sea, England. The job is at a busy decorating firm. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities You should have: • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £1,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
