Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Your main tasks: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
