Heavy goods vehicle driver — Merrimack County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Performance bonus on top of base pay.
