Immediate opening: we are hiring a plastering hand in Clay County, Iowa. The job is at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • CSCS card or willing to obtain one You will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
