Foundry operative wanted in Gokana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Gokana, Rivers State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Full-time, day shift.
