Great opportunity: render and set plasterer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Rockingham County, Virginia. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
