Fire and safety officer wanted in Chattooga County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Chattooga County, Georgia. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
