Immediate opening: groundworker (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Richland County, South Carolina. The job is with a civil contractor. On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 1+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
