Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Maiyama, Kebbi State. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦285,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
