Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jefferson County, Indiana. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
