Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Clay County, Iowa. The job is in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
