QC inspector wanted in Cattaraugus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
