Production welder — Orange County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Orange County, Texas. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
