Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Day-to-day duties: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
