Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Gwinnett County, Georgia. You will work in a natural stone fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools an advantage • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Day-to-day duties: • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site Full-time, day shift.
