Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Warren County, Indiana. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Day-to-day duties: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Overtime paid at a premium rate.
