Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Essex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Essex County, New York. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Meals and transport allowance provided.
