Steel erection rigger — Okaloosa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Okaloosa County, Florida. The job is at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
