Elevator repair technician • Saginaw County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Saginaw County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 4+ years on the tools preferred.
