Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends.
