Motor grader operator — Anchorage Municipality

Vacancy available: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. Your main tasks: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
