Gas pipe fitter wanted in Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Franklin County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
