Rebar installer — Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Grant County, Kansas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time, day shift.
