We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Bureau County, Illinois. You will work in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
