Occupational health and safety officer • Oron, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
