Immediate opening: cnc lathe setter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Marion County, Illinois. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
