Aluminium tig welder wanted in Lancaster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height We offer $32 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided.
