Fettler wanted in Guzamala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Guzamala, Borno State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
