Construction mazdoor — Erie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Erie County, New York. You will work with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
