Moulder wanted in Newton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Newton County, Texas. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
