Great opportunity: pipe tig welder (Delta State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Ethiope West, Delta State. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦9,500 per day plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
