Thermal insulation technician • Archuleta County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Archuleta County, Colorado. You will work at an industrial plant. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Your main tasks: • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
