Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
