Immediate opening: precision welder (North Dakota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Stark County, North Dakota. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
