Metal caster wanted in Saratoga County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Saratoga County, New York. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Performance bonus on top of base pay.
