Scaffolding erector wanted in East Renfrewshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work on a residential housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £18 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
