Concrete labourer wanted in Van Buren County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Van Buren County, Iowa. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
