Press setter operator — Ovia North-East

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Ovia North-East, Edo. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
