Now hiring: we are hiring a plumbing and sanitary fitter in St. Lawrence County, New York. You will work in the maintenance team of a facilities company. On a typical shift you will fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings; lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall; replace worn washers, seals and float valves; install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
