Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Musselshell County, Montana. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
