Now hiring: restoration bricklayer (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Stafford County, Virginia. Day to day you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
