Ironing operator wanted in Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Surry County, Virginia. You will work at a garment factory. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
