Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Macon County, Alabama. The role involves install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
